Tour the Olde Farmhouse

It began with a dream, the idea of a white farmhouse with a red barn to be exact. With this in mind, Grey and Shane Almeida set out on a search for the perfect country home. Soon they stumbled across this much-loved 1800's beauty that had retained much of its original charm and style. The classic red barn, set to the back of the home property, was like the icing on the cake.
Surrounded by towering greenery and rustic wood fence, this two-storey farmhouse is immediately inviting. The exterior has been designed with a traditional, yet elegant, color palette of white, gray and black. The front porch features a white screen door and a pair of black rocking chairs reminiscent of times past.

The cozy kitchen is warm and welcoming with a number of wooden elements. The walls have been clad in russet wood panels whereas the ceiling features worn gray ceiling beams, a contrast that is delightfully unique. Mottled brown countertops and brown-black wood cabinets complete the look. Custom details like a double oven and 6-burner stove bring this kitchen into the modern age by allowing dinner parties to be hosted with ease.
